LADY HORNET TRACK
Your daughter has qualified for the meet this Thursday, 3/8, at Deerpark Middle School. All events will begin at 4:30 p.m.
The girls will need to be prepared for a long night and all kinds of weather. Lots of water, a sandwich and healthy snacks are recommended during the meet. Nothing too heavy before your daughter competes! Deerpark does not usually have a full concession stand.
Your daughter will need sweats and possibly extra layers as the evening goes on. She will need her tennis shoes to warm up, slides are acceptable after her competition. The girls are expected to keep all their belongings at our camp in the middle of the field. No electronics, except for a cell phone, are allowed during the meet. Please understand that your daughter is responsible for the safe keeping of her phone.
It is difficult to determine when the track meet will end. We hope to be home by 8:30 p.m. If you would like to pick your daughter up at Deerpark, you will need to sign her out on the clipboard or make sure one of us see you with your daughter before she leaves.
We expect your daughter to represent Hopewell as a respectful young lady, addressing all workers, coaches, and competitors with the uppermost of respect. If she has any problems or concerns with someone she needs to come tell one of our coaches. We have already received many compliments on the behavior of our girls!
