I am VERY proud to be a HOPEWELLIAN HORNET for a 4th year,and am looking
forward to having a very exciting and successful year with your son/daughter.
I am also the CROSS COUNTRY COACH here at Hopewell.
I worked 28 years in medicine as a Radiologic Technologist (xray) and
Cardiovascular Technologist (heart).
11 years military, 4.5yrs US Navy (17 years old in pictures above),
6.5yrs US Coast Guard, Hospital Corpsman,
Vietnam Vet.
Married 25 years, Kathy my wife.
2 sons, Anthony 35 and Michael 33, and 3 grandchildren; Madison-9;
Makaylyn-6; Jordan-4 (unfortunately they live in Lincoln, NE)
My interests include cycling, gym, theatre, music, movies, eating out.
I am the VOICE OF THE HORNETS 8th grade Football & Basketball teams.
Cross Country coach at Hopewell.
I also announce for Austin ISD varsity football games at Nelson Field; Stony
Point baseball; and the Austin Outlaws (women's professional football).

Having had taught high school, I know very well what skills are needed for
students to be successful in and out of the classroom. Whether they are
going to college or plan to go for another career I will help them prepare
for which ever path they choose.
I always want students to have a "hands-on" year, being part of what goes on
here in the classroom, being accountable, responsible and expressing their
talents and creativity while building their confidence.
I'm always glad to have parents come and sit in the classroom, anytime to
just observe or get involved with investigations, projects, or just say hi.
