The Petroleum Industry
Oil and Gas wells in Round Rock? Although there are only a few wells in
Williamson county today, exploration for petroleum is booming due to the
discovery of new fields.
In 2011, the Texas State Legislature passed important laws regulating the
industry, most notably laws concerning the hydraulic fracturing process.
