Hello Parents! My name is Steven Gradney. This is my 4th year teaching at
Hopewell Middle School and my 2nd year of Coaching. In addition to teaching
at Hopewell, I worked as a Teacher Assistant at LBJ High School in AISD and
as a Teacher Assistant for a vocational program called GO Project in AISD. I
received my undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas in
Denton, Texas and my Teacher Certification from Huston-Tillotson University
in Austin, Texas. I was raised in Austin, Texas and I am glad to be teaching
in the area I consider home . I am married and have 3 children. My son,
LaRen, is 16, my daughter, Chyna, is 13, and my youngest daughter, Szaidah,
is a year and 6 months old. I love to spend time with my family, especially
