NjHS will resume meetings January 10, 2012.
We have great plans for the spring. Members went to Dell Children's Hospital
and brought new donated books, stuffed andimals, games and so forth for the
children who are sick and often lonely. We know our gifts brought many
smiles and happiness to the children. The Club wants to do a repeat of this
but in a larger scale. Details will be worked out when we return.
Members have expressed an interest in a huge food drive for the Austin Area
Food Bank. It was felt that people in need will still be hungry and in need
of food after the food from holiday drives diminishes.
Another thought is resuming the recycling in teachers classrooms and weekly
pick-up to take the recycled papers to the recycling bin.
We will be setting up committees to get organized when we return in the New
Year!
