Another Happy Tuesday,
Well our little "Hornitos" did not fair very well at Bronte last Thursday.
I did hear that the little ones did play better, and are improving daily.
I would like to thank the parents of the 7th and 8th grade football players
for bringing thier children up on Mondays and Tuesdays for early morning
work-outs. These will pay huge dividens for these young men.
The Little Hornitos will take on the Miles Bullpups this Thursday, September
25th at 5:30 here in Mertzon. Look for a much improved version of the
Junior High team to take the field at O.K. Wolfenbarger Stadium.
The Hornets lost in an overtime thriller against a good Bronte football team.
The Hornets take to the road this Friday September 26th at 7:30 in Miles.
Come on out an help the Hornets get back on the winning track. This will be
the last non-district game, as the Hornets will entertain the Rocksprings
Angoras next Friday night in Mertzon.
