I'm not a big fan of Homework, however, a student will receive a study guide
on Monday in order to study for the test on Friday. These tests consist of
Vocabulary (Matching) and Grammar (Conjugation). Even though they are simple
they do require a little bit of study time.
In addition if your child misses a test or an assignment I automatically put
a zero in the gradebook in order to get their attention about making it up as
soon as possible. I will give them plenty of time to make up but usually not
more than 2 weeks. So, if you see your childs grade fluctuate dramatically
that is probably the reason. In other words one day their grade is a 90 and
the next day it's a 60 and then back up to a 90 that is probably a missing
assignmnet being made up.
