PTA’s Vision:
Making every child’s potential a reality.

PTA’s Mission:

PTA is:

  • A powerful voice for all children,
  • A relevant resource for families and communities,
  • A strong advocate for the education and well-being of every child.

PTA’s Purpose:

  • To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship;
  • To raise the standards of home life;
  • To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth;
  • To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth;
  • To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.
Jollyville Elementary PTA strives to achieve all of the above goals, plus:
  • Teaching our children about service by setting a good example and utilizing our talents to help our school.
  • Donating funds to our school to purchase a Sun Shade for the playground.  This should prevent the playground equipment from getting too hot and burning the children's hands.
  • Hosting fun family events so parents and students can bond with each other and with others in our school community.
  • Demonstrating to our children how the diversity of our school benefits our school community by bringing different perspectives to work together towards the same goals.
  • Purchasing new die cuts for teachers' workroom.  Our teachers work very hard and need new equipment to make their jobs easier.
  • Donating funds to Jollyville Elementary to pay for School Bus Service for field trips.  This expense is not covered by Round Rock ISD.
  • We have a future goal of $10,000 to donate to Jollyville Elementary to buy up-to-date playground equipment for our children.
