This is my 9th year of teaching. I am teaching my 6th group of kids this
year at Jollyville. I love what I do and wouldn't choose any other
profession in the world.
Working with children and animals is my passion. I graduated from Texas A&M
University in 2002...whoop! I moved to Austin in 2004 and have loved
everything about this city. My husband (Paul) and I are now living in our
house in Leander with our new baby girl. We are busy spending time as a
family and with friends every chance we get. I currently have 5 animals: 3
dogs(Nikki, Cooper, and Bonnie), 1 cat(Jasmine),and 1 ferret (Penny).I look
forward to working here at Jollyville Elementary for years to come. I love
what I do and wake up every morning excited to go to work..not many people
can say that.
I have high expectations for each student. I always want them to try their
best and ask for help if they ever need it. Our mission for the year is to
excel in all subjects and learn to work with others in a kind way. It is
very important for communication to happen between the teacher,
parents, and child. Children should be life-long learners and understand
that what they learn in school will apply to real life situations.
