The school just started a new reward system in the cafeteria this week. When the classes are doing what they are supposed to be they receive what is called a Yummy ticket. The ticket will then go into a basket for a drawing on Thursdays. The class that gets pulled will receive an extra recess.

Important Dates
Reminder: If you have not paid for the entire year of parties, we need $3.50 by Tuesday. Please be sure to put the students name on the envelope, so that we can check you off. If you want to pay for this party as well as the end of the year party you can. It will be $7 total for the rest of the year.
Next week is the Valentine's Party and also the Read-a-thon. I am sent home the class list, to help with writing Valentine's. This year I am just going to have the students make bags here at school. Also students are allowed to bring in a blanket to lay on for the day.
Solar System Projects are going to be due Feb. 27th. The more creative the better! Also that week will be our next field trip. I will be sending out a permission form shortly. We are going to a museum this time around.
Reminder: Box tops are going to end on Feb. 17th. Please send in any that you might have at home. The class with the most box tops will win a Luau party. Please make sure to have your students first name and my name on the bag, so we can get the credit.
