I am so excited for the school year to start. This is my first year as a
Third Grade teacher but I have been at Jollyville for the past 4 years.
Before coming here I taught pre-K for several years. I really
love working with students and helping them become better at all subject
areas.
Before becoming a teacher I had many wonderful education experiences. I am a
graduate of Westwood High School here in Round Rock ISD. I really enjoyed my
time as a student in the district and I knew I wanted to come back once I
began my career. After high school I went to St. Edward's University in
South Austin. It was a wonderful experience. I was a founding memeber of
the SEU Elite Dance Team and performed at many of the Volleyball and
basketball games. I also graduated from Concordia University with
a Master's in Education.
One of my favorite hobbies is to travel. I have been to at least half of the
states in the United States. Also I have traveled oversees to England,
Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Norway, Mexico, Canada, the Bahamas, and just this
past year to France. I love exploring and learning about the different areas
and the history surrounding those areas.
