What are the prcedures for book orders?

I will be sending home book orders from time to time. If you choose to order
books for your leapfrog, you may do so very easily online or by filling out
the form and sending a check made out to the book club. No cash can be
accepted. Please put the order form and the check in an envelope with your
child's name on it. Sometimes orders from two different companies may be sent
at the same time to offer you a larger selection. Ordering books for your
child is optional, but it is an inexpensive way to buy books. Bonus points
from these orders are used to acquire books for our classroom library. The
orders will be in the Monday folder and will be due on Fridays two weeks after
they are sent home.

Is there still snack in second grade?

Yes, we have a morning snack at 9:30 during math. I ask that you
please send a HEALTHY snack to school with your child everyday. Please avoid
snacks that contain a lot of sugar juices so that we can keep the ants away.
Our class is a NUT-FREE zone! In order to ensure the safety of everyone in out
class, please do not send snacks to school with your child that contain nuts.
Thank you!

Can I bring cupcakes or treats for my leapfrog's birthday?

Laurel Mountain has a policy of no sweet treats for birthdays. I make a big

celebration and do not miss the cupcakes or sweet treats!
