Pattern: r-controlled vowels
This week we will be focusing on the r-controlled vowel sounds that make the "ar, ir, or" sounds. Have your child practice spelling these words at home. One strategy to improve their spelling is to have them re-write the entire word if they misspell as it helps them practice the letters in sequence.
