I have been at Live Oak since the school was opened in 1987. When I started
at Live Oak, I was a classroom teacher, teaching 2nd grade. I then became a
PE teacher. This was my 21st year to teach PE. I have taught for 30
years.
I have been married to a wonderful man named Steve for 26 years. We have
two lovely daughters. Our oldest is Chelsea (24) finished school in
Houston and is working in a hospital. Samantha(Sammi)is 22 years old and
lives in Nacogdoches and is a senior at Stephen F Austin State University.
They both attended Live Oak all of their elementary years.
To teach children to be healthy, make healthy choices and to love to
exercise for a lifetime.
