Throughout the year students will master certain skills that are important 
to the student's understanding of art concepts and performance objectives.  
Every nine weeks, each grade level has a different set of conceptual lens 
that will help the students master the concepts and objectives.For the first 
nine weeks the conceptual lens are:
Kindergarten- Line, Shape& Pattern
First- Line & Shape
Second-Variety & Environment
Third- Space & Relationships
Fourth- Value & Contrast
Fifth- Value & Proportion
