Thank you for sharing your children with me. This has been an awesome year!
Thank you for your wonderful support throughout the year! Without you -- many events and activities would have not been possible! Your support has been awesome and is greatly appreciated!
Please see this week's schedule below:
Monday: Celebration of Writing: Writer’s Workshop/Arthur’s Chair throughout the Day
Tuesday: Celebration of Reading – Weekly Readers, Leveled Books with reading group, Fiction and Nonfiction read with a friend, plus eat lunch in the classroom. Your child may also bring their favorite books from home as we will be reading throughout the day. In addition, we have just finished reading Charlotte’s Web, so I am going to try and obtain the DVD and do a contrast/comparison between the movie and book.
10:30 – Watch Charlotte’s Web with Ms. Bryan’s Class
Wednesday: Celebration of Mathematics: Students may bring any board game from home that requires a math strategy such as checkers; connect 4, Uno, or others
8:00 – 9:00 – Reading Buddies will join us with board games
Thursday: Awards Assembly at 1:45 in the Cafeteria. . We will also celebrate Summer Birthdays – I’ll supply cupcakes at the end of the day. Celebration of Science: Science experiments and stations set up throughout the day. Some Science Guy/Gal might show up……………….
Friday: End of the year Celebration – Autograph Party in the AM, and then we will be walking to Springwoods Park. Please wear sunscreen, tennis shoes, and bring 2 water bottles. A pizza lunch will be provided. We will leave the school at 10:00 AM and return at 2:00 PM.
