How do I become a StuCo member?
During your 4th grade year, in the month of August, you will have a chance
to run for Student Council. Your peers will vote for 2 students from each
homeroom to represent their class on the council.
--------------------------------------
If I am elected to be on Student Council, what are the requirements?
You must have a recommendation from all your 4th grade teachers, from your
previous 3rd grade homeroom teacher, pass all subjects at progress and
report card time with 75 and above in all subjects, maintain a S or better
in conduct, have no office referrals, and no unexcused absences.
--------------------------------------
Do StuCo members only have to work during the school day?
NO! StuCo members stay very busy building their leadership skills. They
must work at least once a week at the school store from 7:30 - 7:45am. They
have after school meetings once a month, and there is at least one project
each month.
--------------------------------------
When are the StuCo meetings?
Student Council meetings are held every 1st Tuesday of the month in Mrs.
Consilio's room, from 3:40-4:30.
