Coach Acosta was born and raised in El Paso, TX. He is a graduate of The
University of Texas at Austin
with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics. In 2003 Coach was married
to Anita Carrillo. Coach
and his wife have a baby girl named Elena. Prior to being at Manor High,
coach taught in Killeen for 2 years, Wichita
Falls for 1 year and in Austin for 1 year.
Coach Acosta is the quarterbacks coach at Manor High as well as the
assistant boys basketball coach.
Our mission is to learn our required mathematical topics while understanding
how to apply these topics
into real life situations. Furthermore, we want to gain an understanding of
the different perspectives
that exist internationally on topics of mathematics and other non
mathematical topics as well.
