Mr. Darden is a certified secondary mathematics teacher with fifteen years
of experience in the technology industry as an engineer and product
marketing manager. Before coming to Manor, he was involved with teaching
mathematics and engineering at the University of Texas, Austin Community
College, and various charter schools in the Austin area. In addition, Mr.
Darden has worked extensively with youth through the Boy Scouts of America,
youth sports, and local churches. Mr. Darden has a beautiful
wife and three sons and enjoys high adventure activities and playing guitar.
The primary mission for this class is to prepare students for life success
through self-directed learning and respectful interaction with others.
Students will be encouraged to discover and use their unique gifts and
talents to contribute to the classroom, school, and community, and to take
responsibility for their own learning while treating others with dignity and
grace.
