I graduated from Dripping Springs High School in 1998. I attended Austin
Community College for two years and received an Associates in Graphic
Design. I decided in 2001 that I was not pursuing my dream, so I began my
degree in English at Texas State University. Go Bobcats!
My dream of being a teacher started when I was in eighth grade. My grandpa-
who was my inspiration- was a teacher as well as two of my aunts. I love
working with kids and it is the best feeling to come live my dream every day!
I began working at Manor High School in 2006 and I love it here! Go
Mustangs!!
I recently celebrated my one year anniversary! I was married in Las Vegas in
August 2007. I also just recently bought a house in South Austin. I live
there with my hubby, two basset hounds (Brodie and Bella) and my cat, Natty.
I am also a new Aunt!! Aiden Dow was born on Friday 2-8-2008!!
We have a community feel in our class. This means that I expect the students
to help each other out and support one another as we learn all about
American Literature and the real world!
