 How often do NYOS students have music?
Second through fifth grade classes have an hour long music class once a 
week.  K/1 students come to music for 30 minutes twice a week.  We have 25 
minute classes on Fridays on a rotating schedule.
Students go to specials (Art, Music, P.E. and Spanish) with their class, so 
the 16:1 student/teacher ratio remains.

 Where can I purchase a recorder?
I will send home info about ordering recorders in October.  If you would 
like to purchase one at another time, they can be found around town at 
Strait Music, Alpha Music, Guitar Center, Teacher Heaven, and sometimes at 
Target.  You can also order one online through WestMusic.com or MusicK8.com.

 What performances are scheduled?
All K-5 students will participate in a Holiday Program in December.  There 
will be a Talent Show in the Spring.
