| We are having a math assessment on Tuesday, 1/29.
Remember that Conferences are on this Friday and the following Monday. We
will release at 12:15 on both days.
Social Studies: We will be studying Texas in the early 1800's including the
Texas Revolution and pioneer life. We will also be discussing the primaries
that are taking place and the process leading up to the presidential electon.
Science: We will finish our unit on living things and begin our study of the
weather.
Math: we will explore study fractions, long division, geometry, and
probability.
Writing: We will be finishing up our animal reports, then begin re-visiting
personal narratives in preparation for the TAKS writing test.
Reading: We will continue to have independent reading time, literature
circles, and guided reading our using social studies and science newspapers,
as well as other materials.
