Our class needs stamps and envelopes for mailing thank you notes and
for mailing writing samples to potential publishers.  Stamps should be
First Class postage, and envelopes can be the small (3 x 5?) variety,
standard size, and large enough to contain 8 1/2 x 11 sheets without
folding them.
