Safety Patrol
Every four weeks we will choose two classes that will have the opportunity to participate in Safety Patrol. Members are expected at all times to be courteous, dependable and conscientious, maintain a positive attitude and show a genuine interest in their duties. From the Safety Patrol's example, we hope other children will develop good safety habits as car riders, bike riders, and walkers. If there are behavior issues or multiple tardies/unexcused absences, the student will be removed from Safety Patrol.
Safety patrol members must be able to do the following:
1. Be at school by 7:10 am. (Students are not allowed to eat breakfast in the cafeteria before school and they will not be able to ride the bus and get here in time.)
2. Stay after school until 3:05 pm. (This is too late to ride the bus home in the afternoons.)
3. Must be able to be at school for Safety Patrol both before and after school.
4. Safety Patrol will be expected to be on duty the entire 4 weeks.
If your child is unable to participate in Safety Patrol due to time, transportation, daycare, etc. we completely understand. These two classes will have a second opportunity to be on safety patrol during the Spring semester. Below is the schedule for choosing students to serve on Safety Patrol.
