partner P.E. at Round Rock High School is a reverse inclusion class. The
general education student applies to be a partner to students in the
functional academic life skills class. We use physical activities as a
stepping stone to become active, participating members of our society and
this is for all students. General Education students must apply through an
application process during scheduling week and students with special needs
must qualify through an adapted physical education assessment.
Adapted Physical Education classes at the Elementary level are taught within
a small self-contained class to ensure plenty of practice at the students
ability level.
