My name is Scarlett Steele and I am so happy to be at Old Town Elementary
teaching 3rd grade! I am so excited about this school year! I know we will
have an incredible year filled with many wonderful experiences.
I am a proud graduate of Baylor University and have been teaching for 11
years. My passion is working with children and helping them be and feel
successful. One of my goals is to create a positive and nurturing
environment in which all children can succeed.
My husband and I have known each other for 18 years and married for 8 of
those years. We have 2 children named Kaden and Kalliann. Kaden is 6 years
old and will begin first grade this year at Old Town. Kalliann is 4 years
old and is beginning her 2nd year in the Old Town TWC program. I am very
excited to have both my children so close to me and at such a wonderful
school.
My family is a lover of animals! We have a boxer named Mocha and four cats
named Annie, Pusskins, Feona, and Kinky. I seem to attract stray animals of
all kinds, so my husband has currently capped us off at five! As you can
see, there is never a dull moment in our household.
I am looking forward to working with you and happy to have the opportunity to
get to know your families. I appreciate all of the time, effort, and support
you will offer this year as we work together to provide our children with the
best learning experience possible.
