3rd Grade Rocks!

What a way to end the first week of school!
We had a visit from Kona Ice!

Dragon Tales T-shirt Day!

RRHS football players visited 3rd graders today.
They read to our class, and talked about the importance
of reading!

Science fun! We are learning about Matter.
The students are modeling the molecules in a Solid.
They are packed tightly together!

Here the students are modeling a liquid.
The molecules in a liquid aren't as tight
as in a solid, but they are closer together
than in a gas!

The molecules in a gas take up the space of the container they are in. The students are spread further apart than in a solid and a gas.

We went on a Solid, Liquid, Gas field trip around our school. It was fun finding real world examples and sharing what we found.

CAREER DAY!

The boys in my class want to be authors, private investigators, army men, football players, and construction workers when they grow up.

The girls want to be singers, dancers, movie stars, fashion designers, vets and teachers!

Learning Buddies!

Mrs. Gibson's & Mrs. Johnson's classes Rock!

We taught a science lesson to our learning buddies.
The 1st graders loved it!
