Mrs. Baker is in her third year in education. She enjoys the many hats she
wears at OLG including middle school art teacher and the music teacher for
3rd-8th grades. She has a BA from Trinity University in Fine Arts and is has
completed her certification to teach in Texas. She has a diversified
background in Corporate Training and Sales for American Express and The Sabre
Group a division of American Airlines. She has been an amature singer for
many years and is currently a member of Houston Horizon Woman's Chorus. She
is a native Houstonian, and has many hobbies including faux painting and
travel.
My mission for middle school art is for my students to understand the
fundamentals of art and music. I want them to see the impact of art in our
environment and appreciate the different styles and mediums of art in the
world around us. I want them to understand basic music fundamentals and
differnt styles of music.
