I am very proud to have been a part of the OLSS family for the past 24 years.
The first six years as a parent volunteer and PTO officer, and for the past 19
years, I have served my school community as a classroom teacher, religion
teacher, Eucharistic Minister, and textbook coordinator. I also help the
Campus Minister with off-campus student retreats, serve as chaperone on field
trips for middle school, and help set the table for Mass on Fridays.
My job as Resource teacher has taken me out of a regular classroom setting and
allows me to work with students in Kindergarten through 5th grade who might
need a little more one-to-one help, along with what they receive from their
classroom teachers. Students are pre-selected at the end of the school year
based on grades, ITBS scores, and teacher recommendations.
As Textbook Coordinator, I order all teaching instructional materials for
every classroom in the school. I make sure each teacher has every resource
available to ensure maximum learning.
As Elementary Team Leader, I serve the teachers by helping them coordinate all
activities and instruction as directed by administration.
