Dear Parents,
Thanks for the pencil donations. We have a complete supply now.
Also, thanks for the M and M donations. We have plenty and will use them in
different lessons this winter and spring.
During the 2nd semester we will be having some exciting units of study as we
move closer to 3rd grade. Please read updates on the website, my weekly
classroom newsletter, and emails from me for upcoming information.
Also, reread the information below concerning the return of the Planner daily
and sending a water bottle each day for your child's use in the classroom.

Our class newsletter, Vasek's Vision, will now be posted each week on my
Teacher Web page.
Please remind your child to send the Planner back Every Morning to school.
Also, it is important that a water bottle is sent each day. We are a long way
from the water fountains in the hallway.
Concerning weekly homework, please use pencil only, not pen. Also, it is very
helpful to have all of the homework papers stapled together.
If your child participates in the Math Superstar activity please keep these
papers separated from the homework paper. Thanks for your cooperation!!
I really appreciate the many notes and letters of thanks given to me. It was
very thoughtful of you to take the time to show your appreciation. You have
bright and eager children that I so enjoy teaching! I have kept these letters
for years.
