Hello Everyone! My name is Katie Holding. I am starting my 9th year as an
Assistant Principal with Mr. Pratz and have been at Sommer since it opened. I
am in my 14th year in education. I taught 7th grade math for a little over
four years and was an assistant principal at Highland Park in Austin and
Forest Creek in Round Rock prior to becoming a Stallion.
For a little bit about my life outside of school...my wonderful husband,
Greg, and I have been married for over eight years. I am lucky to have a
stepdaughter, Ryleigh, who will be a 5th grader this year! We have one dog
(Peppermint Patty) and two cats, Simba and, our latest addition, Bailey.
Although these are my kids at home, the children I serve at Sommer quickly
become a part of my heart.
