I have been teaching since I was 17. Teaching English, Spanish and basic
French. I taught in private schools until my certification and then I
became a teacher at Robert Browning Elementary School in the Houston
Independent School District.
I have taught all grade levels in Elementary School through fifth grade
with the exception of first grade in the bilingual education program
teaching Spanish and English. I really enjoyed working with HISD for eight
years before going to the nearest district to my home; Spring Branch
Independent School District; also in the Houston suburbs. This is
when I became so lucky to become a Pre-Kindergarten teacher and have been
ever since. After 5 years with the SBISD I married my Round Rock, Texas
husband and transferred to Round Rock ISD.
This brings me back to here: at Purple Sage with all the awesome four to
five year olds that grace the neighborhood! Hurray for Pre-K!
