I was born in Mexico City. I studied a bachelor in Communication. After
some months of graduating I started teaching in a bilingual elementary school
in Mexico. It was then when I decided that being a teacher was great and that
that was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life (or at least for part of
it). So I became an ESL teacher. After six years of teaching in Mexico I
started getting ready to get my Texas Teaching Certificate. I am very happy
to be here and to have the privilege of getting to know a different culture.
Nací en México D.F. Me gradué de la carrera de Ciencias de la Comunicación. A
los pocos meses
empecé a dar clases en escuela primaria y fue cuando descubrí mi vocación.
Después me titulé como
maestra de inglés. En México trabajé seis años en escuelas bilingües. Hace un
año empecé a prepararme
para obtener el título como maestra bilingüe en Texas. Llegué a los Estados
Unidos en Julio del 2009 para
trabajar con el distrito escolar de Round Rock. Estoy muy contenta de estar
en Purple Sage y de poder
desarrollarme profesionalmente en esta gran escuela.
Cuando no estoy trabajando me gusta viajar, ver películas, leer, ir a
conciertos y nadar.
