This is my third year to teach 3rd grade. I have been part of
the Purple Sage Family for many years, as a parent and a
teacher. I substituted, taught small group reading instruction for 2 years,
and taught 2nd grade for 4 years. I graduated from The Ohio
State University in Columbus, Ohio. I taught 1st grade in Syndey,
Australia, and Cleveland, Ohio. My husband, Andy and I moved to Austin in
1986, from Ohio. We have a son, John, age 26,is a graduate of Rochester
Institute of Technology and lives in Austin. Our daughter, Rachel is
18 and is a freshman at Louisiana State University. Both of my children
attended Round Rock Schools. I also have a cat named Beaux.
I love spending time with my family, following Ohio State Football, and going
to the theater.
Stefonsky's Stingrays will work together, like a team. We will do our very
best, be friends with each other, make good choices, and cooperate to be
successful learners!
