Welcome back to school Seniors! This is an important year for you, and we will focus on
writing, literary elements, grammer, and test taking strategies. If you practice, focus, work
hard and take this class seriously you will pass the English TAKS test. Feel free to ask me
questions at anytime and take advantage of my tutoring times for any additional help you may
need and want. You CAN pass TAKS!

Homework will typically be work that you did not finish in class.  It will be
due the following day before class begins.  I expect you all to practice your
TAKS testing skills every night so you will be fully prepared for the TAKS
retesting sessions.  Remember the more you pratice the the better prepared
you will be.  You can pass the TAKS!
