Ken Damron (6th grade) is in his 8th year as a counselor at Ridgeview. He
was a middle school and high school counselor for six years in another
district. He attended Angelo State University in San Angelo, Tx for his
bachelor's degree and Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Tx for his
master's degree
Carrie Proctor (7th grade) is beginning her 5th year at Ridgeview and is
looking forward to continuing to work with all her students from last year
and getting to know new ones! This is her 14th year as a counselor and her
11th year at the middle school level.
She proudly attended The Ohio State University for her bachelor's degree (and
loves talking Buckeye football!) and Southwest Texas State for her master's
degree.
Melissa Leverette (8th grade)is also starting her 5th year at Ridgeview
this year and has been working hard to get to know all 440 of her students.
This is her 12th year as an educator and her 5th at the middle school
level. She attended University of Houston for her bachelor's degree-Go
Coogs!!!
and Texas State University for her master's degree.

Ridgeview counselors will provide students with resources and skills that
enable them to be successful academically, emotionally and socially. We
provide classroom guidance on important lifelong skills, offer group
counseling and individual advising to assist students in reaching their
goals.
