When can I refer my child for TAG services?
The referral period is from late November to early December. A flyer will be sent home with your child during the month of November to inform you of a TAG Parent Information Meeting. This meeting will take place in the evening in the Robertson library and is meant to answer any questions that you might have about the TAG Program.Back to Top

Students are tested in the areas of Math, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Science. The TAG tests also assess verbal and nonverbal abilities, as well as strengths in reasoning skills.Back to Top

How can I help my child with their school work?
Help with organization--thoughts and ideas, materials, time allotments. Help with facts reviews and drills. Certainly don't let your child be overly frustrated, a question or suggestion can get him or her on the right track again; but especially for problem-solving problems and projects, the work should be the student's. This helps the teacher gauge the student's grasp of the concept on the continuum of understanding. Although parents are not expected to teach the child a concept at home, reinforcement might be helpful .Back to Top
