2)  Students have or will receive a presentation on course selection during thir WHAP class (mon/tues).  Please know that they will be bringing home their course selection sheets for parents/guardians to review and sign.  These need to be returned to me this week.

3) Students were assigned an online reading for homework and there is a quiz over it "Political Revolutions in Europe and the Americas, part 1".  Part 2 is for next class.







Homework due 3/2 & 3/5 is read chapter 24 and complete Key Points
Homework due 3/6 & 3/7 is read chapter 25 and complete Key Points.

2/20/12 - Reminder Parent meeting re AP Exam tomorrow 5-7 @ cafeteria


2/1/12 - Today and tomorrow your students will be bringing home information on registration for the AP Exam.  All registration is online and the cost this year is $91.  on-time registration is Feb. 1 - March 8.  Registration after that will incur a significant late fee. 



HOMEWORK for Wednesday & Thursday (Jan. 25 & 26) is to read and complete the key points for ch. 21

1/13/12 - There have been ongoing problems with my keypoints and student not being able to view them in their entirety.  I am now going to begin saving them as a PDF file, which makes them available to everyone regardless of the version of software they use.

GRADES:  Many of my B-day students received an "I" (incomplete) for their 2nd 6-week grade.  This is my responsiblitiy not yours.  I was unable to complete grading the DBQ essays in time.  Rather than have you receive an inaccurate grade I opted to give you an incomplete and update grades as soon as possible.  This should have no impact on UIL eligibility since it is a teacher error and will be corrected this week.

Next week we will be reading and analyzing historic documents and will be writing an essay over them.

Progress reports will be coming out next week.  If you currently have a failing grade you still have a chance to complete quiz corrections or turn in missing homework.  This is your responsibilty!
