Hello everyone,
My name is Mrs. Olowoyeye, my students call me Mrs. O. I have been
teaching for the past 13 years of which 8 years teaching was in the post-
secondary level. I have a BS. and MS. degree in Botany and MEd. in Biology;
and currently 2010 Principalship Cohort member at The University of Texas at
Austin (MEd.Educational Administration)
I taught Physical Science and Biology in Baltimore City Public School for 3
years before relocating with my family to Texas. I will be teaching Pre-AP
and the Regular Biology this year here at Round Rock High School 9th grade
academy which we refer to as "Vision Academy". I will be working with great
teachers with common vision and goals that is set for the success of our
students.
I strongly believe in the success of my students and with this believe I let
my students know that they can succeed as long as they do not give up but
continue to put in extra efforts.
My mission as the teacher is to promote academic excellence in a safe
environment where high expectations, critical thinking, and a rigorous
curriculum will help to cultivate confidence, respect and success for every
student.
Our (students and teacher) mission as a class, is to improve our academic
skills by setting goals, and working hard to reach them through problem
solving, homework, and by trying our very best.
OUR GOAL: WE BELIEVE, WE SUCCEED, WE ACHIEVE!
