Highlights:
Principles of Education:
- Remember that Reading Buddies will be on Wednesdays and Thursdays during the spring semester.
- Over the next 2 weeks, students will be interviewing a counselor and librarian in class to learn more about their careers.
- Students are completing their bulletin boards early next week.
Computer Science:
- Students have begun writing programs which are using Java classes and methods.
- Currently finishing lab 25

Students will have a test on February 9. We are reviewing in class February 3 (lab26review) and February 7.

The Computer Science & Engineering students will be attending the Edison Lecture Series at UT on February 23 during 6th & 7th periods. Permission slips are available as of February 8. The first 50 Computer Science students to turn in completed forms will definitely be able to attend. After that, additonal students will go on a waiting list to see how much room is on the Engineering bus.
AP Computer Science:
- Students are continuing with sorting algorithms - finished Insertion sort on Thursday.

- Please note that students must be registered by March 8 to avoid late fees.
