What is Field Day?

Field Day is usually the last Friday in April. Our students
(grades 1-4) go to Our Savior Lutheran School and participate
in track and field events. They compete against students from
about 7 other Lutheran schools. We have a wonderful time.
The parents take the day off to drive and to supervise
their child to and from Field Day.

Mrs. Saalfeld, who teaches P.E., rewards the class with
points for appropriate behavior. When they get 10 points,

they may bring a toy of their choice to P.E. class. She will
send home a note announcing when these days are scheduled.
Please wait for a note from Mrs. Saalfeld before bringing any
toys to school. Also, do not bring anything expensive or
