Children may say one verse on any morning. Only one verse may be said on any one day. The verses may be said in any order; they do not have to be said in the order printed on the page. They should also say where the verse is located in the Bible:  Book, chapter number, verse number, and verse.

 

Grade:          Satisfactory – any 9 verses or more

                     Needs more improvement – any 8 verses or less

 

1.  1 Timothy 1:15 – Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.

 

2.  Psalm 100:1 – Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!

 

3.  Matthew 26:41 – Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation.

 

4.  1 John 1:9 – If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.

 

5.  Luke 23:43 – Truly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.

 

6. Matthew 28: 5 and 6 – Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for He has risen.

 

7.  Job 19:25 – I know that my Redeemer lives.

 

8.  Psalm 119:105 – Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

 

9.   Matthew 28:20 – Jesus said, “I am with you always.”

 

10.   Romans 10:17 – Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the Word of Christ.

 

11.   Romans 1:16 – For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.

 

12.   1 John 3:1 – See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God.
