Is there snack time?
Yes, each day the students will have a mid-morning nutritious
break. Fruit, vegetables, and cheese & crackers are good choices.
When is lunch?
Our lunch period is 1:00-1:25. Payment for hot lunches and
drinks are to be made through the school business office. NO
SODA OR CANDY CAN BE PURCHASED DURING SCHOOL HOURS.
What if my child has medicine to take?
All medicine needs to be taken to the school nurse for
dispensing. Please send along apecific directions with each
medication as well as marking all medicaiton with your child's
name. No medication will be given in the classroom.
When is chapel?
Chapel is held every Wednesday at 8:20 am. Children are to wear
dress uniforms and are encouraged to bring an offering.
What may my child wear for Spirit Day?
On Friday students may wear "Spirit Dress." "Spirit Dress" is
either 1) Field Day Shirt 2) Salem M & M Shirt 3) School
Uniform Polo. Students may wear BLUE jeans (shorts or pants)
with no rips, tears, or frays.
When is memory due?
Memory will be said or written every Tuesday and Friday.
When are spelling tests?
Spelling tests will be given on Friday.
When will I recieve my child's work?
Take time to look over all papers and information sent home in
the Wednesday Folders. Keep all daily work, but sign and return
all major test papers in Science, Social Studies, Math, English,
and Reading. (They will be stapled together to make things easier
for you!)Remember to sign the fron of the Wednesday Folder.
What may my child wear for a "Non-Uniform Dress Day"?
Students must have four green slips to have a "Non-Uniform Dress"
Day. These days will be posted on the calendar.
Students may were "Spirit Dress," button-down shirts with
collars, Christian T-shirts, pants or shorts. Please choose
modest, appropriate clothes - no midriffs, short shorts, frayed-
edged clothing.
