PILGRIM DAY
Friday, Nov. 20, our children will participate in a
New England Thanksgiving. In order to keep this authentic, the children are to come in costume, if possible. Boys are to wear a long/short sleeve blue, gray or brown shirt and long pants with socks pulled up over their pants to their knees. Girls are to wear a dark colored dress or long skirt. Jackets may be worn. Each child can wear a hat. A stocking hat or wide brimmed
black hat is good for boys and a white linen hat is good for girls. Yes, our Pilgrims can have a little Texas- style. Please
do not go out and buy these items, but look around and see what you have at home to make a costume. A sign-up sheet was sent home in the Wed. Folders concerning items needed for the meal and for class volunteers to set-up lunch and serve the meal.
