What time is lunch?
Our classes eat lunch from 11:10 to 11:40. For specifics see each classroom's
individual schedule.
Memory work is to be said when?
Memory work is due Friday. However, your child may say their verse any day
prior to that if they are ready. If more than one verse is required, they may
say the verses on seperate days.
When is my child's library day?
Please refer to each classroom's individual schedule.
What is Accelerated Reader/AR?
These are selected books which are leveled by reading ability. They have
accompanying comprehension tests on the computer in the library. For each
test passed, the student accumulates points. The points may be accrued and
used in a Second Grade AR store that we are hoping to have once a quarter.We
will also give out rewards within our individual classrooms for AR tests
taken and passed. Your child may test on an AR any day of the week, but we
will be encouraging and expecting each student to take at least one test a
week during their library hour.
What about party invitations?
Children may bring invitations for a home party to school provided they are
given to the class as a whole.
Can my child sit with me during chapel?
You are more than welcome to join us for chapel on Wednesday mornings at
8:15. You may choose to sit with our class or you can sit with your child or
another sibling.
Why is there early dismissal once a month?
Lest you think we are getting our nails done, we will let you know that we
are hard at work in meetings, planning on how to do things better in our
classrooms and in our school as a whole. Please note that the last Wednesday
of every month is an early dismissal.

keep me this day also from sin and every evil that all my doings and life

all things. Let your holy angels be with me that the evil foe may have no

Lunch Prayers
God is great. God is good. Let us thank Him for our food. By His hands we are
fed. Thank you Lord for daily bread. Amen.
O give thanks to the Lord for He is good, and his love lasts forever. Amen.
