January Homework
1. Please read to your son daily.
2. The pencil grip is very important. Examples of the correct pencil grip
are in the handout section of this webpage. Please observe your son as he
writes for correct formation of the letters. All letters begin at the top.
3.We are working very hard to learn the complex phonograms and apply them to
our reading and writing. Please practice them at home daily.
4. Please practice your sight words daily. They can be found in his reading
zipper bag. Listen to your son read the books he brings home in his reading
zipper bag.
5. It is very helpful when your son comes home to look in his folder and
review the activities from the day. Read the words from the projects. Use
the words in sentences.
