What should I do if my son forgets to bring home his homework?
Not to worry! First, check the homework link on the second grade web page.If you do not have the necessary materials required for the evening's homework, your son may do 'substitute homework.' For reading, he may read for 15 minutes. For math, he may solve problems that you make up, or he may practice addition and subtraction flashcards for 10 minutes.Back to Top

What is Frog Log Reading, and when is it due?
"Frog Log" Reading is our name for an independent reading program at home. Sixty minutes of independent reading is due every Friday. Your son may read any book of his choosing. Please remember to sign one frog on the Frog Log for every 15 mionutes of reading that your son completes at home. If he has lost the Frog Log sheet, you may send a note indicating the number of minutes he has read and we will send another Frog Log home in his red folder.Back to Top
