Attended Houston ISD Scarborough High School, Clifton Middle School, and 
yes, Sinclair Elementary!   

I have been married eight years to Nicholas Cobb.  We have two wonderful 
boys (Nathan and Michael), and two loyal (but lazy) golden retrievers.  My 
husband began dental school in August 2007, at the University of Texas 
Dental Branch here in Houston.  YAY, Nick!  In my leisure time, (HA!, I 
have to chuckle about that!) I enjoy cooking, sewing, gardening, traveling, 
and playing with my boys.  Professionally, I continue to modify my teaching 
to be more effective and enjoyable for my students.  I love seeing children 
transform into readers and writers.  I want them to comprehend and analyze 
text, but also learn to make reading and writing a life-long pleasure.
