: : : : Photo: About The Teacher Label: About The Teacher I am in my 8th year of teaching at SES. I will be teaching 3rd and 4th Grade Writing and Language Arts. I live in Brenham, and I have 2 grown sons. My youngest son works and lives in Louisiana. My oldest son and his new wife live in Brenham. He is a 5th grade Math teacher, and she works at a Day Care. I L-O-V-E what I'm doing, so I hope it shows in the way I teach. MORE ABOUT ME: Hobbies-movies, reading, spending time on the computer, watching reality shows, spending time with friends and family, playing games, and watching the ASTROS (even when they're not doing well)!!!!! Pets--Simba (cat)and Bella (dog) Education--AA ~ Blinn College in Brenham BS ~ Texas A&M University in College Station My certification is EC-4 Generalist and 4-8 ELA/Reading Mission Label: Mission My mission for all my classes is to have each student gain a respect for reading and writing. I truly believe that all children love to write, but it's the 'process' that seems to be the difficult part. We will work on understanding this process so our writing can be awesome. I also hope that I can inspire all students to have a love for reading. The more we read, the more we experience the world around us.
