I am a native Texan and a UT graduate! I've lived in Austin
since 1978. I have two daughters, Maxie and Chelsea. Maxie
attends Texas State University in San Marcos and Chelsea attends ACC.
I love animals and have three dogs, Bubba, Mojo,and Bella and a cat named
Shayna. We also have fish in our backyard pond. My husband Harvey is the chef
at Siena, an Italian restaurant. We just celebrated our 25th wedding
anniversary! Before coming to Spicewood, I taught social skills to Pre-K
through 5 in Austin, Manor, and Lago Vista ISD. This is my second year
teaching second grade, and my twelth year at Spicewood. I am very excited to
be teaching 2nd grade again this year!
My class will be a caring community of learners where all students feel
nurtured, respected, and challenged to do their best!
